As a program associate, Sarah Kain provides administrative and grantmaking support to GMA clients. These organizations vary in funding interests, including women’s reproductive rights, arts and culture, and support for under-resourced individuals, families, and communities in the Greater Boston area and internationally.
Sarah also staffs the GMA Funder Community, a pooled giving initiative that brings together individual funders with overlapping missions and goals. She shares her observations from a recent Fund in a brief article, Funding to Boost Child Behavioral Health.
Sarah graduated from Wellesley College in May 2020 with a BA in English and American Studies. Prior to joining GMA, Sarah assisted self-represented litigants navigate the justice system as an Illinois JusticeCorps Fellow through AmeriCorps. In her free time, Sarah attempts to stay up to date on her book clubs and reality TV shows.
